What is UN/CEFACT?

The Mission Statement of UN/CEFACT is:

“The United Nations, through its Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT), supports activities dedicated to improving the ability of business, trade and administrative organizations, from developed, developing and transitional economies, to exchange products and relevant services effectively. Its principal focus is on facilitating national and international transactions, through the simplification and harmonisation of processes, procedures and information flows, and so contribute to the growth of global commerce…”

Developing or implementating UN/CEFACT Data Standards

Cloud Data Technologies and its partners provides Briefing Sessions on the technical specifications and business standards produced by UN/CEFACT.

There are currently four sessions to choose from which can be summarised in keywords as “Exploring”, “Engaging”, “Doing” and “Using”.

• Briefing Session 1 - Introduction to UN/CEFACT Technical Specifications and Business Standards
• Briefing Session 2 - The UN/CEFACT Standards Development Process
• Briefing Session 3 - Modelling and Developing Standards based on UN/CEFACT Methodologies and Enterprise Architect
• Briefing Session 4 - Implementing UN/CEFACT Business Standards

Each of the sessions can be covered in an intensive ½ day. Typically we combine and configure the sessions according to the number of attendees, the time available and the particular objectives of the organisation or group who have booked the sessions.
